End User License Agreement
Effective Date: May 20, 2026
In simple terms: You can use DoseVault for personal medicine tracking. Don't redistribute it. Your data is yours. We're not responsible for medical decisions based on the app.
Medical disclaimer: DoseVault is a personal organizer for tracking medicine inventory, expiry dates, and dose logs. It is not a medical application and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
1. License Grant
Byte Sized Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DoseVault on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
3. Ownership
The App is licensed, not sold. Byte Sized Software retains all right, title, and interest. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over content you create within the App.
4. Your Data
DoseVault stores all data locally on your device and optionally in your private iCloud account. We do not access, collect, or control your data. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. DoseVault is not a medical application and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Byte Sized Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any expired or lost medicine data
- Any failure of notification reminders
- Any unauthorized access to your data
7. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must cease use and delete all copies.
8. Apple Terms
This Agreement is between you and Byte Sized Software only, not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
