Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 20, 2026
The short version: DoseVault does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.
Information We Collect
DoseVault does not collect personal information on external servers. All data you enter — medicine names, tags, expiry dates, dose logs, collections, notes, and photos — is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, DoseVault uses Apple CloudKit to sync data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is accessible only to you. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Notifications
DoseVault may send local notifications to remind you of expiring medicines. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external service.
Camera and Photo Library
DoseVault requests camera and photo library access solely to attach photos to expiry date records. Photos are stored locally and are not uploaded to any server.
Third-Party Services
DoseVault does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your data with anyone.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device and in your private iCloud account for as long as you keep it. Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your device settings.
Children's Privacy
DoseVault does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or collect any personal data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
