Byte Sized Software ("we", "us", or "our") built ExpenseFlow as a personal finance application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.
Information We Do Not Collect
ExpenseFlow is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. Specifically:
- We do not collect personal identification information
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not display advertisements
- We do not share any data with third parties
- We do not have access to your financial data
Data Storage
All data you enter into ExpenseFlow — including expenses, categories, and budgets — is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. Your data never leaves your device except through iCloud sync, which is described below.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, ExpenseFlow uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your personal Apple devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms of service. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Data Backup and Export
ExpenseFlow provides the ability to export and back up your data. These files are created and stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of any exported data files.
Notifications
ExpenseFlow may request permission to send local notifications for reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
Children's Privacy
ExpenseFlow does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation or any personal information to function.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
